Determination of Normalized Difference Vegetation Index in ArcGIS

Method 1

1. using 'add data' tab or 'catalog' import Bands of Red and Near InfaRed.

2. Open the Raster calculator.

3. use the equation and press ok.

4. Using the properties can do the classification.

Method 2 (using image analysis tool)

1. Open image analysis window.
